Big week! I got to celebrate the wedding of @jwcl

Big week!

I got to celebrate the wedding of @jwclarkco, and I had the honor of being his best man. 19 years of friendship and now Allison gets to join us! So excited for you both.

Also love that I got to finally wear some of @cosettes_creations today!

I love getting to wake up the morning of an event or a wedding to see beautiful flowers like these on my dining room table.

And that's the most impactful part. I woke up to these flowers.

When I went to bed last night, Cosette was just getting started with this process. The process involves:
•Taking leaves and thorns off of flowers.
•Evaluating each stem to make sure the height is correct.
•Some varieties get a warm water treatment to get the flowers to open and be at their maximum potential for their big day.

Then getting to the complicated part of making these stunning arrangements a reality

This work goes long into the night because Cosette, like many small business owners, selflessly goes from caring for our sons during the day while I'm working to running her business in the evening. Yesterday, the boys had to come with her while she gathered some of those flowers. (An errand that I'm sure was no simple feat) After I finish work, Cosette still wants to prioritize family time together before putting the boys to bed.

This is what hustle looks like.

I've seen Cosette do this tireless work for years. She's done weddings with massive arrangements and centerpieces. For Mother's Day last year, our entire dining room floor was covered in buckets full to the brim with roses.

The best part about today's project? These flowers are for a non-profit that is hosting an event today.

@bombbomb is helping with other aspects of the event and asked Cosette if she'd be willing to donate to this special day. She said "yes" even before they finished asking.

The boys and I don’t always to go see @cosettekirkpatrick in action. Normally it’s a frenzy of flowers and amazing products that get shipped off to the final destination - usually a wedding. Today we got to see Cosette at work as she was featured in a photo shoot today. So exciting to see how Cosette has taken control of her business and become a recognized florist in her industry. It is this beautiful woman’s birthday today. Cosette is a incredibly talented creative. I love watching her take floral designs from concept to flawless presentation. She is a dedicated and loving mother to Caspian, with another boy on the way! And I am lucky enough to do life with with this wonderful woman @cosettekirkpatrick is an amazing person. Caspian, baby #2, and I are so lucky to have her in our lives. Happy Birthday, Cosette!
